Queen Creek Vet Clinic Staff

Kaitlynn – Hospital Administrator

Hey there! I’m Kaitlynn — part hospital admin, part vet tech, and full-time animal whisperer and chaos coordinator. I’ve been holding it down in the Arizona heat since birth, but one day you’ll find me living my cozy dream life in rainy, green Oregon (manifesting it daily). I joined the Queen Creek Veterinary Clinic team as a technician in October of 2019. Before joining QCVC I attended and graduated from Pima Medical Institute’s Veterinary Technician Program.

At work, I keep things organized and the tail wags coming — but once I clock out, it’s all about my little crew: my amazing fiancé Eric, our three awesome kids, and a full house of four-legged family members (5 dogs + 7 cats = never a dull moment).

I’m a proud homebody who thrives on family game nights, couch snuggles, and controlled chaos. If you need me, I’ll be over here keeping it real, caffeinated, and slightly covered in pet hair.

Ashlyn – Hospital Administrator

Ashlyn launched her veterinary career in 2017, starting in shelter medicine, where she discovered her passion for helping pets in need. In 2020, she joined Queen Creek Veterinary Clinic as a veterinary technician and quickly moved up to lead technician and then hospital administrator.

Fondly known as the clinic’s “cat lady,” she has a particular affection for kittens. Outside of work, Ashlyn loves spending time with her two horses, Atlas and Trigger, and has a keen interest in reptiles and exotic animals. When she’s not caring for pets, you can find her painting, enjoying family time, or having a blast at Disneyland.

Jen – Hospital Administrator

Jen was born and raised Arizona but dreams of living by the ocean, or in a Disney castle. Jen has a huge love of German Shepherds, and her own Kratos, Corvus and Floyd, keep her busy! Other than her passion for animals, she is very passionate about everything Disney.

Jen and her husband spend their free time doing anything Disney related. They love spending quality time with their fur babies, family and friends.

Jen always wants to make people smile and finds a way to help anywhere she can. She has worked in the animal field for 10 years in a variety of jobs ranging from boarding facilities to veterinary hospitals.

Julie – Lead Client Services

Julie has a huge love and passion for animals. She has always been around and worked with animals in various capacities including growing up on a ranch, working as a vet assistant and pet store clerk. Having a strong background in both animals and office settings make her a perfect fit for our front desk team.

As her children were growing up and beginning to leave home, she missed having outside connections and decided to get back into the workforce joining QCVC in 2023. At home she enjoys spending time with her family, experiencing new restaurants and loving on her Golden Retriever.

Celeste- Client Services

As a customer service representative, Celeste is one of the first people you will meet when visiting our hospital. She is a Arizona native and joined our team in early 2021. She is a self professed “cat lady” and has three sweet rescue cats at home. Freddie, Kodak and Mac are the best cats a girl could wish to have.

She chose to explore working in veterinary medicine because of her love of animals and wanting to learn everything about them and their care. She chose QCVC after coming in as a client and meeting the knowledgeable team and feeling the good vibes of the hospital. Her favorite part of work is cuddling all the cute pets coming to visit, learning about animal health and playing a part in helping pets feel better.

Outside of work, Celeste enjoys doing makeup, watching TV, and hanging out with my friends. Celeste and her hubby can be found eating pizza while re-watching episodes of One Tree Hill for the 100th time, and of course laughing at the silly cat’s antics. Her spirit animal is a Turtle because they are chill, and go with the flow. Given the chance to hug a panda bear or a koala, she’d hug the panda because they look like giant fluffy pillows.

Jackie – Client Services

Hello, I’m Jackie! I have always grown up with having dogs and joined the QCVC team in 2022. When I am not at giving treats and making friends with our the fur children who come into work, you will find me with my husband at the gym, going to listening to live music, or watching our favorite shows. We have 2 grown sons and 2 fur babies- a shepherd mix Diesel and a special Rottie named Apollo. Apollo has a autoimmune disease called Vitiligo which causes changes to his coat color!

Britain – Client Services

Hi, I’m Britain! I was born and raised in Southern California, spent two amazing years in Idaho, and have recently made Arizona my new home. I’m currently working toward my English degree through BYU-Idaho and am excited about the journey ahead.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and working in the veterinary field has only deepened my passion for their care and well-being. I have experience at three veterinary clinics, and now a fourth, where I’ve had the privilege of working with animals of all kinds. Ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for is incredibly rewarding. Nothing brings me more joy than helping a pet heal, comforting nervous animals, and supporting the families who love them. Providing compassionate care isn’t just a job for me—it’s something I truly love.

When I’m not working or studying, you’ll probably find me at a concert or musical—I can’t get enough of live performances! I also love meeting new people, whether it’s through work, spending time with friends, or exploring new places.

Keri – Client Services

Hello, my name is Keri and I am pleased to be joining the team as a customer service representative! My passion for animals led me to complete a veterinarian’s assistant program at 19. Throughout my career I’ve explored various fields including 911 police operator, property management, mental health and television/video production. However I have come to realize the importance of following my passion, which led me to Queen Creek Veterinary Hospital.

My husband Jim and I have been married for 25 years with four grown children, and two grandchildren. We currently have two dogs, Ace and Harley, and two cats, Gypsy and Jinx. Over the years our family has included beloved cats and dogs, bearded dragons, Betta fish and two African dwarf frogs. We enjoy hiking, indoor rock climbing, swimming and spending time with our family and pets. I’m excited to meet and work with each of you!

Emma – Client Services

Hi there! My name is Emma and I am so excited to be a part of the Queen Creek Veterinary team. Animals hold a huge part of my heart and are some of my dearest family members. Currently, I have two kitties who are my absolute loves. A boy named Octavian and a girl named Shadow. I know just how important our fur friends are as they have served as a life line to me many times in my life, so I hope that this is apparent any time I help you with yours! I come from a BIG family and we spend most of our time, traveling, spending time together and having fun. But in my alone time, I love to read, go thrifting and playing with my kitties while balancing school. Thank you for entrusting me with helping you with your fur family members, it is a joy and honor.

Kirsten – Client Services

Hello, I’m Kirsten. I attended some college at Fullerton College and am now a front desk receptionist at Queen Creek Veterinary Clinic. The thing I enjoy most about this position is getting to see all types of pets come in and get the care they need. I got started in veterinary medicine after 10 plus years in the human medical field and wanted to take that knowledge and be able to apply it and learn more to help not only my pets, but pets everywhere.

I focus on empathy, understanding, and a drive to help all when I am working with pets and their families. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two kids and our fur babies. We enjoy going to the zoo where I love spending time watching the chubby unicorns (rhinos). We also love camping and just really enjoying each other’s company. We also love to travel back to California to spend time with family and friends.

We have two fur babies. Riley, who is our 16 year old chihuahua/terrier mix. The. We have Persephone, our 3 year old corgi/husky mix. Both make our family whole and bring us so many laughs and memories. My favorite memory is when they walked with my son and daughter down the aisle at my husband’s and my wedding.
I am so excited to continue journey into veterinary medicine with them and my family by my side.

Avery – Client Services

Hi, my name is Avery and I am born and raised in Arizona. I started off in human healthcare and now am turning to animal healthcare because of my love and passion for our furry and scaled family members.

Outside of work, you can find me reading romantasy books, playing video games, and taking care of my houseplants and pets. I currently have 2 cats (Louie & Mavis) and 4 reptiles (blue tongue skink, ornate uromastyx, crested gecko, and a tortoise). I look forward to evolving in this field and helping people/animals along the way!

Morgyn- Lead Veterinary Technician

Morgyn joined the pack in 2022. She chose QCVC after bringing her pets in for care and seeing how each technician and vet cared for her and her pets. While attending PIMA Medical she completed a externship with us and soon after joined us as a receptionist while continuing her technician training. She chose to work in vet med because she wants to help those that do not have a voice. She is excited to continue learning to become a veterinary technician.

Given the choice between hugging a panda or a koala, Morgyn would choose the Panda because they look like really good huggers. If she had to choose between giving a cat a pill or doing a nail trim on a pug- she would choose to do the nail trim ;). Her favorite Disney character is Olaf from Frozen since he is always happy and likes being around those he loves.

Chris – Veterinary Technician, CVT

Hi my name is Chris. I am originally from S. California, but moved to Arizona in 2004. I have always loved animals and growing up I knew I wanted to work with them. Exotic pets are my
true love, especially reptiles and birds. I am a licensed falconer and have a fascination with birds of prey. I share my house with snakes, sulcata tortoises, a dachshund named Roxy, a cat named Juno, 2 rats named Tom and Jerry, and my Harris Hawk named Bravo.

In 2013 I graduated from ASU with my BS in Conservation Biology. This year I graduated from Pima Medical Institute with my AAS in Veterinary Technology. I completed my externship at QCVC and really enjoyed the experience. I look forward to continuing my education, improving my skills, and earning my CVT.

I chose vet med because I love being able to educate pet owners and help their pets live long, healthy lives. In my spare time I enjoy fishing, flying my Harris hawk, and spending time
with my kid’s exploring nature.

Samantha – Veterinary Technician, CVT

Hi my name is Sam (Samantha) and I have been working in veterinary field for close to three years. I started out as an animal care assistant and slowly grew my way up to a veterinary technician. I graduated from East Valley Institute of Technology and am currently enrolled in the veterinary technology program at Mesa Community College. I joined the Queen Creek Vet team in May of 2022.
I have four dogs at home, all different sizes and breeds so there is never a dull moment! I really enjoy educating clients and caring for pets, whether it be at a standard wellness visit or a surgical procedure.

Madelynn – Veterinary Technician

Maddy (Madelynn) has been working in the field since 2018, starting as an East Valley Institute of Technology graduate and graduated from Pima Medical Institute in September 2020. Maddy has 2 rats, Gouda and Pepperjack, and a Jack Russel Terrier mix named Chaz Michael Michaels. She enjoys spending her free time with her friends, helping them with their animals, and enjoys reading a good book or watching a Disney movie. Maddy’s dream job is to be a Veterinarian working in conservation and rehabilitation. She has an interest in zoology and marine biology, and plans to specialize in radiology and possibly neurology.

As a member of the QCVC team, Maddy enjoys seeing the bond between pets and their owners and building relationships with our clients and their furry family members. She plans to continue expanding her knowledge and skill set, while branching out into surgery.

Bella – Veterinary Technician

Bella is a graduate of EVIT’s veterinary assistant program. As part of the requirements of the program, students do externships at local veterinary hospitals to work on hands on skills and see the ins and outs of veterinary medicine. Bella first joined QCVC as a extern and officially joined our team in January 2024. Bella loves the fast pace of vet med and that no two days are exactly the same.

A fun fact about Bella is that she is a Swifty through and through! She loves listening to music and hanging out with her spazzy pit bulls Bodhi and Brynn. She just adopted the sweetest mini dachshund puppy named Maggie.

Rian – Veterinary Technician

Rian is a graduate of PIMA Medical Institute’s Veterinary Assisting program, becoming a certified VA. During her schooling, she came to know the Queen Creek Vet team while completing her externship. Once she graduated, she joined the QCVC team as a veterinary technician in April 2023.

Rian loves being able to make a difference for each pet and their family. She has a passion for helping pet families feel comfortable at the vet office. Rian understands how scary the vet office can be and wants every visit to be the best experience possible. She is skilled in understanding how difficult it can be to make decisions regarding a pet’s condition and takes time answering questions and ensuring owners that we want what is best for them and their beloved pet.

Outside of work, Rian enjoys playing guitar and piano and of course spending time with her pets. She has a fondness for Rottweilers and recently added a new puppy to the household mix!

Alyssa – Veterinary Technician

Hi, I’m Alyssa! I’m an Arizona native, born and raised in Gilbert. I am currently a senior at ASU studying biomedical sciences in pursuit of attending veterinary school and eventually becoming a veterinarian. Becoming a vet has been my dream job since I was a kid because I’ve always loved animals and want to ensure they live happy lives.

When I’m not studying or working, you can find me working out, soaking up the outdoors, hiking, or reading. I’m also in a sorority at ASU which keeps me pretty busy, but I absolutely love it! Volunteering at the humane society is another big passion of mine — I really enjoy helping animals in need. At home, I’ve got a golden retriever named Bailey who’s basically my best friend and I adore her.

I’m really excited about diving deeper into the veterinary field and expanding my knowledge.

Brooklyn – Veterinary Technician

Hello, I’m Brooklyn!! I’ve been working at QCVC since April 2024 first as a receptionist and now as a veterinary technician, which has quickly become one of the most rewarding parts of my journey. Whether I’m assisting in patient care or welcoming clients at the front desk, I love being part of a team that’s dedicated to animals and the people who love them.

Outside of work, I love to travel, go to music festivals, or watch my favorite TV show/movie. Fun fact about me is that I spent a couple weeks solo traveling in Costa Rica just so I could see my favorite animals in their natural habitat, a sloth!! It was one of the most incredible experiences of my life and only deepened my love for wildlife. I’m always looking for ways to grow, explore, and connect—whether it’s with pets, people, or places around the world.

Haley – Veterinary Technician

I’m now a Vet Tech and am so in love with the supportive atmosphere! The people are just incredible and hold such an admirable passion for animals.

Growing up, I always loved animals because of how accepting and loving they were. Animals ultimately inspired me, because they made me want to give back, and to help them when they couldn’t help themselves. Something I love being able to do is comfort them and make their experience as good as it can be. I also hope to further enhance my skills with injections and blood draws, as these are things Im particularly interested in. Outside of work, you could find me reading, running, or playing with my bearded dragon named Cheeto. She’s an absolute goof and is the only pet I have but I hope to continually grow my pet family in the years to come!
