Stephanie S. – Hospital Director, CVBL

Hi and Welcome to Queen Creek Vet! As a young adult I was struggling with what I wanted to do when I grew up when one day while watching Animal Cops my husband said “Well you are always watching these show, why don’t you work with animals”. The next day I applied to every rescue I could found and shortly after, began working at HALO Animal Rescue in Phoenix. A few years later I was ready to learn more of the medical aspect of animal welfare and was hired at Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic. Over my 8 years at that location, I helped it grow from 4 doctors to 10 and eventually become a 24 hour emergency practice. I loved having the opportunity to learn all areas of the hospital and that the veterinary field is never boring. In 2019, I was offered the opportunity to become the Hospital Director at Queen Creek Veterinary Clinic and enjoy all the challenges and problem solving that leadership offers. I have a passion for educating clients and helping owners make the best decisions for their pets.

My home is a busy one with 2 young kids and 2 dogs. My dogs are aging now, but in her younger years my French Bulldog Raylee earned several trick dog titles, was featured in ad campaigns, a commercial and a small extra role in a movie. Honor, a Bernese Mountain Dog, is the sweetest most mellow pup who does no wrong- unless you leave something tasty out on the counter. In addition to caring for my family, I am a full time college student attending Arizona State University. With the little free time I have I enjoy gardening, creating Pinterest fails, bike rides and lounging in the pool. In the cooler months I enjoy hiking and paddle boarding at the Salt River and Canyon lake.

Kaitlynn – Hospital Administrator

Hey there! I’m Kaitlynn — part hospital admin, part vet tech, and full-time animal whisperer and chaos coordinator. I’ve been holding it down in the Arizona heat since birth, but one day you’ll find me living my cozy dream life in rainy, green Oregon (manifesting it daily). I joined the Queen Creek Veterinary Clinic team as a technician in October of 2019. Before joining QCVC I attended and graduated from Pima Medical Institute’s Veterinary Technician Program.

At work, I keep things organized and the tail wags coming — but once I clock out, it’s all about my little crew: my amazing fiancé Eric, our three awesome kids, and a full house of four-legged family members (5 dogs + 7 cats = never a dull moment).

I’m a proud homebody who thrives on family game nights, couch snuggles, and controlled chaos. If you need me, I’ll be over here keeping it real, caffeinated, and slightly covered in pet hair.

Ashlyn – Hospital Administrator

Ashlyn launched her veterinary career in 2017, starting in shelter medicine, where she discovered her passion for helping pets in need. In 2020, she joined Queen Creek Veterinary Clinic as a veterinary technician and quickly moved up to lead technician and then hospital administrator.

As a customer service representative, Celeste is one of the first people you will meet when visiting our hospital. She is a Arizona native and joined our team in early 2021. She is a self professed “cat lady” and has three sweet rescue cats at home. Freddie, Kodak and Mac are the best cats a girl could wish to have.

She chose to explore working in veterinary medicine because of her love of animals and wanting to learn everything about them and their care. She chose QCVC after coming in as a client and meeting the knowledgeable team and feeling the good vibes of the hospital. Her favorite part of work is cuddling all the cute pets coming to visit, learning about animal health and playing a part in helping pets feel better.

Outside of work, Celeste enjoys doing makeup, watching TV, and hanging out with my friends. Celeste and her hubby can be found eating pizza while re-watching episodes of One Tree Hill for the 100th time, and of course laughing at the silly cat’s antics. Her spirit animal is a Turtle because they are chill, and go with the flow. Given the chance to hug a panda bear or a koala, she’d hug the panda because they look like giant fluffy pillows.

I have experience at three veterinary clinics, and now a fourth, where I’ve had the privilege of working with animals of all kinds. Kirsten – Client Services

Hello, I’m Kirsten. I attended some college at Fullerton College and am now a front desk receptionist at Queen Creek Veterinary Clinic. The thing I enjoy most about this position is getting to see all types of pets come in and get the care they need. I got started in veterinary medicine after 10 plus years in the human medical field and wanted to take that knowledge and be able to apply it and learn more to help not only my pets, but pets everywhere.

I focus on empathy, understanding, and a drive to help all when I am working with pets and their families. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two kids and our fur babies. We enjoy going to the zoo where I love spending time watching the chubby unicorns (rhinos). We also love camping and just really enjoying each other’s company. We also love to travel back to California to spend time with family and friends.

We have two fur babies. Riley, who is our 16 year old chihuahua/terrier mix. The. We have Persephone, our 3 year old corgi/husky mix. If he was able to travel to any year in a time machine he would choose the 1800’s to see the natural discovery in the USA firsthand. While he can’t pick just one Disney character (they are all so great!), one movie he can watch over and over is the live action Beauty and the Beast.

Morgyn- Lead Veterinary Technician

Morgyn joined the pack in 2022. She chose QCVC after bringing her pets in for care and seeing how each technician and vet cared for her and her pets. She chose to work in vet med because she wants to help those that do not have a voice. She is excited to continue learning to become a veterinary technician.

Given the choice between hugging a panda or a koala, Morgyn would choose the Panda because they look like really good huggers. If she had to choose between giving a cat a pill or doing a nail trim on a pug- she would choose to do the nail trim ;). Her favorite Disney character is Olaf from Frozen since he is always happy and likes being around those he loves.

I am currently attending Arizona State University to pursue my bachelor’s degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine, with the goal of continuing on to veterinary school. I truly love this field and feel grateful for the opportunity to advocate for both my patients and their families every day.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether that’s paddle boarding, horseback riding, hiking, or camping. At home I have two dogs: Jersey, my 12-year-old Pit Bull, and Kova Mae, my 6-year-old Golden Retriever–Lab mix.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my two dogs, Ponyo and Kiki, as well as my two cats Honey and Smokey who always keep life fun and adventurous. I enjoy being outdoors, whether that’s hiking, horseback riding, or just soaking up the Arizona sunshine. I’m excited to be part of a community that shares the same dedication to animals and look forward to contributing my skills and enthusiasm to the team.

Derrick – Veterinary Technician

Hi! My name is Derrick. I am an Arizona native who only recently moved back after spending some time out of state. I Joined the United States Marine Corps in 2009 and after 7 years of
honorable service as a Reconnaissance Marine I found myself in California living with my wife, looking for a new career. I started attending college while in CA, but finished my degree in
Applied Sciences In Veterinary Medicine in TX.

My decision to move to a career in Veterinary Medicine came from a passion for working with animals and a love for medicine. I have been working in vet med for roughly 3 years, and I
absolutely love it. I am currently working on attaining my license as a veterinary technician, giving me the title of CVT in AZ.

When I’m not working, you can find me spending time with my wife, Melissa, who I have been with for 10 years and love to travel and experience new things with. We especially love going to
theme parks. You can also find me at the gym, the zoo, trying food at new restaurants, doing art work, or just hanging out at home with my dogs. I am looking forward to continuing my education and experience in veterinary medicine and aspire to one day be a Veterinarian.

Ella – Veterinary Technician

Ella is a graduate from EVIT’s Veterinary Assistant program. She first started externing here since it is part of the course, and was officially hired afterwards in May of 2025. Ella chose vet med because she loves animals and wishes to improve as many lives as possible. She also loves assisting pets and giving dogs a good head scratching.

When Ella’s not at work, you might find her at the movies or getting fast food with her close friends. She won’t hesitate for a caniac combo at Raising Cane’s or an AK special at Sodalicious. Although she has lived in the city her whole life, Ella adores wildlife and being with nature.

Kali – Veterinary Technician

Hey there! I’m Kali and I recently graduated from EVIT’s Veterinary Assistant program. I originally did my externship at a horse ranch, but shortly after that, a desire to gain experience with small animals led me right to QCVC’s door! I’m now a Vet Tech and am so in love with the supportive atmosphere! The people are just incredible and hold such an admirable passion for animals.

Growing up, I always loved animals because of how accepting and loving they were. Animals ultimately inspired me, because they made me want to give back, and to help them when they couldn’t help themselves. Something I love being able to do is comfort them and make their experience as good as it can be. I also hope to further enhance my skills with injections and blood draws, as these are things Im particularly interested in. Outside of work, you could find me reading, running, or playing with my bearded dragon named Cheeto. She’s an absolute goof and is the only pet I have but I hope to continually grow my pet family in the years to come!

Karoline – Veterinary Technician

I love working in a fast-paced clinic environment because it keeps every day exciting and different. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, watching my favorite shows, and hanging out with my pets. I have five animals two dogs, a Yorkie and a French Mastiff, and three cats, including two tabbies and one domestic longhair so life at home is always busy and full of energy.

Rose – Veterinary Technician

Hello!
I’m Rose, a proud Carrington College Veterinary Assistant grad and a veterinary assistant at Queen Creek Veterinary Clinic. Where I get to do what I love most: help pets—furry, scaly, and feathery alike—have stress-free and enjoyable visits while building my clinical skills. My passion for animals inspired me to pursue this career, and I especially love patient handling, comforting nervous pets, and creating positive experiences for every animal I meet.

Outside of work, I’m on a mission to thrift the coolest treasures, practice my art, and hang out with friends whenever I can. At home, I’m ruled by my sassy leopard gecko, Rautt, who is equal parts boss, mischief-maker, and the absolute light of my life. Basically, I’m all about animals, laughter, creativity, and finding joy in every little thing—even if it involves negotiating with a tiny scaly overlord!
